I use a permanent VPN.

Every time my IP changes I'm logged out.

I have "remember me" set to 'true'.

Before I just had to enable Roaming, now I cannot find such a setting.

I'm running into the same issue. Remember Me is supposed to be the same thing as Roaming, I think, but it's not working that way.

It's a cookie that expires after a week, so will automatically log you out every now and then anyway, though I'm pretty sure it'll be changed back sometime.

As far as I can tell there is nothing involved in dumping sessions surrounding ip address changes, so I suspect this may be a browser related privacy feature.

It's a recent change. It only affects me on my phone, and I haven't changed any settings on that device. The only changes I'm aware of are the ones being made to the site, so that seems more likely to me.

definitely not affecting me; i just performed the following test:
• new browser session, no active login
• logged into the site
• browsed through some pages e.g. user profile, settings
• switched to a different internet connection
• confirmed that my public IP address had changed
• continued browsing
→ no sign of being logged out

I keep getting logged out, and I can confirm that this was not happening prior to the site rework. I've had to log back in maybe five-ish times since the rework, maybe more, and prior to that, I'm pretty sure I remained logged in for well over a year.

I can also confirm that other sites have been keeping me logged in.

According to this thread, getting logged out after several days should be fixed. It hasn't been that much time for me since then to know if it's working or not (or if it will still happen once more and take effect the next time I log in properly).
