Topic: What do you think about taurs?

Posted under Art Talk

I think there needs to be more vanilla explicit art involving taurs. I like how they look but they seem to be a magnet for fetish overdose.

I'm rather fond of chakats, and the fanart people make with them. The lore behind Chakona Space is really interesting too. I suggest checking it out if you haven't already.

That might be the dumbest thing I've heard all day.
I don't even like taurs, but a statement like that is not that far from believing that all furries want to fuck animals.

Not a fan.
Their anatomy is just too implausible, I keep getting sidetracked and wondering about how their lungs and spines work, etc.

How does having six limbs work? They'd also need an absurd amount of food in order to live. That'd be pretty distracting.

Anatomy-wise yeah it's awkward. An example like, where's the heart placed? top half, bottom half, or does a taur have 2 hearts?

I'd surmise that once that are not "somebody got confused when looking at a biped riding a quadruped" exist primarily for having all the things (bipedal section with hands and breasts and other such features but also quadrupedal). It's kind of like robots that are made for a purpose other than making males horny, but still have accurate gender anatomy. There's no practical reason for it unless it's intended to be used or viewed.

Everyone wants to add their two cent... taurs.

Personally, I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other.

I think taurs have a big stomach, liver and panchreas in the anthro part. The duodenum is in the feral part where the esophagus would be in a normal feral. There are no stomach nor liver nor panchreas in the feral part. There are no bowels in the anthro part.

There are real life conjoined twins that have two working hearts pumping blood around their shared body.
As for taurs; i think they have a heart in the anthro part and a heart in the feral part, with the aorta and the vena cava crossing at the point where the anthro part and the feral part connect, in order to connect to the heart of the feral part like the carotid artery and the jugular vein would do in a normal feral. Also the hearts must be synchronized with each other. There are two pairs of lungs; one pair in the anthro part and one pair in the feral part. The diaphragms must be synchronized.

This looks more like a design, but keep in mind that the anatomy of the chakats is designed in universe.

I have them blacklisted (for slimming down search results) - the aesthetics of Taurs aren't my cup of tea
