Topic: So, i haves question about the m/m tag... and one about the solo tag

Posted under General

I know this is probably gonna irk people. But...

First:

Just like how cum leaking from a males behind, or splattered on them can not be grounds for the male/male tag being used.
How can a single male, be tagged as male/male if all that is shown of the other character is the shaft of a dick?
For example this could be a (gynomorph) or a herm for all the image is telling me.

Second:

The solo tag, I’ve been cleaning posts for quite a while now but I’ve always left characters that are tagged as solo when a dick is present alone.
My question is, shouldn’t I be removing the solo tag? We can’t really see a second character but we can see they are present...

First question: We can't see whether the person the penis attaches to, has tits, and possibly pussy, or not. So, with the rule being tag what you see, and us only able to see a penis, we tag male.

Second question: The proper tag for that is "solo_focus" because the focus character is clearly not alone, but they're the only one the picture is focused on.

Thanks, the 2nd one is abused (not really intentional) so much I ain’t even gonna try to keep up with that one... lol if you look up male/male solo there’s so many in there that aren’t actually solo...

Well, this thread has pretty much become a "post tagging projects you can't be assed to do alone, so we can help do it as a team" sort of thing, so you might consider suggesting that in there.

Assumption is that characters are male or female unless there's more visual evidence contrary.
As even though yes, it is possibility that that specific penis could even be the characters penis tongue, when people see penis they do assume the off screen character to be male, so this helps with searchability (e.g. "I remember there was two males on the image" even if other character is just penis on the edge of the screen)

Problem would be easily solved by changing and enforcing that all gender tags are not used and only objective tags like penis to be tagged, but considering how many people I constantly see searching with gay and -female is ridiculous and would essentially break the functionality of the site for everyone like that.

As for solo male having cum on them, there is tags for after sex and cum which you can combine with male solo and current site supports much more tags on search and blacklist.

The tag gay is aliased to male/male, so some truly solo ones might be falsely tagged because of that. However, when a disembodied penis is visible, and it's not attatched to a disembodied vagina, a penis is evidence of a male so it's considered a male character (The presence of a connected disembodied vagina would make it herm).

Well aware of the gay tag issue. It's the whole reason it was set to m/m.. it's also why I've always focused on it... Even though I don't personally enjoy gay artwork, I mean every once in a blue moon I find one that's my kinda thing... But yah lol. I'm mostly just doing this to try to help.
The peen part, I just wanted to point it out just in case somehow, beyond all of it, it might have been missed. It does make sense if you take into the TWYS,NWYK rule. I will say that the new lore tags have made my fairly straightforward, self assigned task a heck of a lot harder.

I found a few posts yesterday that had every gender tag available on the site used... Including the lore ones. It makes it harder to differentiate. I mean now I have to think "is this tag there because of the Lore tag?" I'm going to have to check but God I hope the lore tags are not (and will never be) aliased. That's one mess I'm staying clear of. Lol.
