My blacklist goes as follow:
arania huge_balls huge_breasts huge_penis hyper hyper_balls hyper_breasts hyper_penis hyper_genitalia ladydrasami my_little_pony scat smudge_proof hyper_bulge friendship_is_magic my_little_pony:_the_movie_(2017)
And it's simply not working. While searching for any tag, I keep getting results including tags from the blacklist. It's especially problematic with bloody "hyper" family of tags

did you check to make sure that your blacklist is currently enabled? it's toggleable under the search bar, and stays disabled until you re-enable it

My blacklist has stopped working as well. It's odd since it's all been enabled.

It is enabled. Basically anytime I search, for anything, all hyper* tags and MLP tags are still returning results (even though it shows them in blacklisted tags list) unless I manually cram "-mlp -hyper" in the search.

(And then there's an issue where people don't bloody tag 5m cocks and beach ball tits as hyper)

This is pretty odd. The hyper tag on its own should cover all other hyper tags, no need for specific hyper_breasts, hyper_balls, etc.
Stranger still is that blacklisting hyper works just fine for me.

Could you test something out – cut and paste your blacklist into a text file for safekeeping, then put only the hyper tag into the blacklist text field in the settings.
If this works, then there's something wrong with the way your blacklist is formatted. Otherwise... hard to say.

And yeah, people failing to tag hyper is a bit of an issue. Like the ones that have tits that are four times the size of the head tagged as huge_breasts instead of hyper_breasts.
