I've been finding myself unable to quote comments that have been hidden via downvotes. Not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this or if it's actually a bug or just a feature to prevent arguments in the comments, but I figured I post it just in case.

I mean, technically you can quote

anything

using the right dtext. But doing my own quick little experiment I found that comments with high downvotes can still be replied to, though interestingly enough if you have a commment threshold it does prevent interaction with the comment via the reply button.

I think it's based on your personal threshold rather than any specific score floor. Pretty sure I ran into this shortly after the site rework, so I just changed my autohide threshold to something like -99
