For several days now anytime I attempt to click on any post it refuses to load just says update pending but what update is it on about if I hold down the post and open in a new tab it works for that post specifically and I have go do that over and over for every post

Sounds suspicious to me. I'd start by clearing your browser settings, and removing any plugins that aren't crucial to your daily browsing.

You have mode as something other than "View".
On left side panel below search box, change the "Mode" to "View".

what does it mean if ur e6 page is just orange
mine is and its not loading any images, it says "updating posts" and then "error"

I mean, you could just literally read the thing you are quoting for answer...
Orange sounds like you are "Add to set" mode and if you do not have any sets, obviously the post cannot be added to the set and resulting error.

look under the big words that say "MODE" between the search bar and the tags, there should be a dropdown box where you can select different...well modes. just switch to "view" and you should be fine

also next time you have a question like this; please make a new forum post rather than replying to a years old one like this. it's called necroposting and it gives the impression that the past convo you unintentionally brought back is more recent than it really is
