Topic: [Feature Request] Reverse Favorite Search?

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

Is it possible to search for only new images that you have not added to your favorites yet?
Just a suggestion if it's even possible to do.

Sorry, if this kind of question was posted already. I couldn't find it.

Add a - in front of a term to subtract it from a search.

cat dog will give images with a cat and dog tagged in them
cat -dog will give results for cat images with no dogs tagged in them
-cat dog will give results for dog images with no cats tagged in them
-cat -dog will give all images without a cat or dog tagged in them

You can do -fav:<YourUsername> to get results for everything you have not favourited the same way you can use fav:<YourUsername> to get results for images you have favourited.

I don't know if I should create my own feature request page for this, but this topic reminded me of something.
Does anyone else have an interest in being able to add tags like "votedup:anything" and "fav:[username]" to your blacklist? It sounds silly, but I personally would find this useful for browsing the posts page so that I only see posts that I haven't already viewed and voted on. I know that I can just manually type -votedup:anything etc., but it would be a little more convenient to have it be automatic.

I want to be able to blacklist voteddown:bitWolfy. I sometimes encounter stuff that I really don't ever want to see again, but I don't feel like it's worth it blacklisting an entire tag just because of one image that I didn't like.
Being able to use sets in the blacklist would be amazing too.

You can blacklist based on specific post ids iirc. But that is not as useful because you then need to open user settings every time you want to hide a post.

Yeah, I have a couple of those in my blacklist. I was just hoping for a more... automated solution.
