Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: toyification -> objectification

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #33731 toyification -> objectification has been rejected.

Reason: Toyification

When a character is bound and put inside of a giant plushie

seems to me like a more general form of objectification

The act of either being treated or treating another character as a specific and set object, often articles of furniture, or bestowing dehumanizing tasks to a character in order to imbue a character with the traits of an object.

EDIT: The tag implication toyification -> objectification (forum #295532) has been rejected by @NotMeNotYou.

I think the distinction there is that plushification is when a character is literally transformed into a plushie rather than being put inside of one, but i agree that they are similar. It is strange that the wiki for toyification is plushie specific.

That description sounds a lot more like plushification

Plushification is where a character is transformed into a plushie, whereas toyification is a character put inside a plushie but remaining separate.
