For starters, there is only one other tag containing the substring "grecko", and its one post has never been tagged grecko. Not really disambiguation material thus far.

Okay, let's look at the usage history of the tag. It has been added to 12 posts, and removed from only one, a year ago. The removal reason was that it was a typo for gecko. We've invalidated typos that could mean multiple things before, but we do generally require a sample size of more than one before doing so, especially when that one typo lasted for five minutes and was fixed by the same user who introduced it.

It has to be said that Grecko does not only commission his primary fursona (scalesona?). At the time of writing, the most recent post on his FA is of "Kik my velvet gecko kobold assassin". His own upload of the garter snake post makes it clear that this is not a named character ("Inspire by garter snake mating behavior that occurs after their communal hibernation", apparently).

So at worst you could say that two of the ten distinct posts were using the tag to refer to the commissioner, rather than the character. In other words, either the tag is valid or it should be removed entirely; there is no disambiguation to be made here.

Yep, it looks like this one may have been unnecessary. It looked like a mixture, but I wasn't expecting a few mistags of the commissioner being bundled into the character tag... to be the cause of that mixture. So I'll reverse it. Thank you for digging into it and figuring it out.
