I have made a tag for cropped pictures of sex. But there is a bunch of oral sex pictures on here and I think there should be a separate tag just for blowjobs where it only focus on the dick and the persons head (like a headshot but there’s a dick in it).
But since it’s still sex and it’s a cropped picture of a sexual act I have been collecting them into the sex shot tag.

I don't see the need for sex_shot as a tag, what we need is to clean up the current list of tags.
There are already a plethora amount of tags such as penis_focus/penis_shot/penis_close-up & pussy_focus/pussy_shot/pussy_close-up that do the job.
Other tags include butt_focus/butt_shot/butt_close-up, foot_focus/foot_shot, face_focus/headshot_portrait/mouth_shot, crotch_shot, etc.

I feel that you should be able to find "blowjob shot" posts by searching ~penis_shot ~penis_focus ~penis_close-up fellatio.

Can we get rid of the crotch shot and penis/pussy close up? Because they are literally the same thing as focus or a crop shot and it spams the place with unnecessary tags.
And if it’s also just someone pushing their rear also with their face in the picture it should be penis/butt/pussy focus.
And what if people want to see cropped versions/pictures of sex and have a hard time finding it? I made that tag so it’s easier for those people to find what they want.

Given that crotch_shot comes up saying it has over 1000 tags, I don't think anyone's going to just "get rid of" it, nor see it as unnecessary. It's also not redundant with something like genital_focus, since that mentions needing most of the rest of the character to be in the picture.

From the sounds of it, the tags just need to have a cleanup done with them, and potentially some aliases/implications. If anything, sex_shot is the one that sounds redundant to me, since, as TheGreatWolfgang mentioned, you should be able to search the same things with existing tags (so long as they were cleaned and tagged properly).

At this point, it seems that you're the only one using the tag. Unless it gets more traction with other people, I still do not see its necessity.
Like I said before, "cropped versions/pictures of sex" can and should be found simply with *_shot *_focus sex.
There's nothing in the wiki (or anything at all) that says it should not include sex in posts tagged with *_shot or *_focus.

Yep, the *_shot and *_focus groups are well-established.

pussy_close-up and penis_close-up, on the other hand, are completely redundant. And should be sorted out to better tags.
Such as genital_focus. Which does good job even by itself without penis_focus and pussy_focus subtags, because it can be combined with penis or pussy to get accurate results: genital_focus penis.

If a character is deep_throating a penis, the penis may not be visible at all in the picture, so penis_shot, penis_focus, and penis_close-up would not apply.
