Hey, so suddenly three of uploads where deleted pretty suddenly and randomly even though one was already approved.

Since one was already approved, why would the posts get removed?

I questioned the approval process, did I tick someone off?

topic #23578 covers this in detail, but in brief: posts like yours typically go unapproved for several weeks when there isn't any one janitor or mod who wants to say "this is good enough to approve" or "this is horrible enough that we should delete it immediately". Often, there are a few thousands of posts that are currently unapproved at any time, and only 23 users who have the ability to actually handle unapproved posts. If you want an idea of what janitors and mods are looking out for when they delete posts on the basis of not meeting minimum quality standards, topic #23578 also explains this under "Q: What does the deletion reason mean?".

Usually it takes 30 days for a post to be removed for that reason, it was less than that, and that doesnt explain why my post that was already approved was deleted

Presumably, Millcore saw your thread, looked at what you have uploaded, and decided that none of them meet the quality standards.

Thirty days is when the Auto-Moderator unapproves the picture automatically if nobody has been able to decide to unapprove it themselves. Since inadequate (not necessarily poor or low) quality art is typically the reason for this, that's likely the Auto-Moderator's default reason. However, if a janitor or moderator can make a decision before then, it can be unapproved for inadequate quality before 30 days is out.

I very much doubt Millcore removed your posts out of malice or as punishment. While I agree it can be a punch in the gut to have one of your own pictures not get approved, it's not anything personal. Millcore just had a higher threshold for quality than Mairo did at the time. It just means you just have to keep practicing and refining your craft. That Mairo said it was good enough should be encouraging because it means you are close to having your art get approved and stay approved. You just need more practice (but don't we all?).

If you'd like more specific feedback from Millcore to help you improve, politely DM them and politely ask for some. Then keep on drawing. Eventually, you'll get on here.

To be honest, I think you have quite a bit of promise, and I do like the idea of a water deer character. With a bit more practice, your uploads ought to get up here just fine. For the first two, I'd recommend not standing them staring directly straight on at the viewer like they were having their passport pictures taken (although, to be honest, passport pictures would look deliberately worse). Make the eyes a little bit cross-eyed so it looks like they're focusing on something instead of staring off into the distance; how cross-eyed depends on how close the thing they're focusing on is. Arm thicknesses and the slope of their shoulders tend to be a little bit uneven, so you'll want to pay closer attention to that. The "factory air" between Cleo's thighs is a bit large, making her look as if her legs are being pinched off by that bikini/underwear.

I like the third one the best as she's doing something and is actually saying something with her body language and expression, though I can see a couple issues that likely resulted in it not getting accepted. Whitney's pose does mostly work and her stare while poking at the light switch speaks volumes to me as if she's witnessing something weird and has decided it's best to just kill the lights and leave the room, perhaps with an "Oooooo-kay," accompanying it. However, Whitney's right hand looks awkward and definitely needs to be reworked. Her left is okay but the fingers ought to slant downwards a bit more. Don't feel bad, though. Hands are difficult things to get right even for the best of artists. Fortunately, you have two excellent models at the end of your arms. Also actually standing in that position and seeing exactly how your hands would look in that situation is helpful. Don't be afraid to take pictures, examine yourself in a mirror, twist yourself into a pretzel, or use pictures or any other references to help you visualize things.
