Hi, I'm trying to locate my soulmate. Years ago I found a user here whose favorites had 100% exact all my fetishes, scary level. Deleted my bookmarks and my memories.

Is there a way to see all the users who favorited a picture? I don't see where to click anymore, maybe it's my imagination it was ever there. How many users are there? A link to the right help page would be fine. Thank you

Nope. there is currently no way to find out who favorited what pictures. The only way to do that is to go onto their profile and look at their favorites, so unless you know the name of "the fetish favoriter" there's no way you'll be able to find them again.

I have no idea why you're not able to see who favorited the art from the art itself, because if it's for privacy and stuff, why have it show up in the profile anyway?

Thank you. I made an account thinking maybe you had to be logged in to see that now and another thing. It must have been they left a comment on one of the pictures, and I imagined the feature, and forgot the picture. But I know my tastes, and theirs. I guess I'll go over all the pictures I browsed the last 6 years. I hope it was a comment.

I can see who favorited any picture just by clicking the Favorites link under the status of an image. Is that not there for you?

I guess not. I just checked the account help page and didn't see anything about it. The post page mentions the function but says nothing about the user level required. Maybe that info could be added in the future?

Assuming you're serious, that's not something you can apply for, and I don't think they're likely to give the role to someone openly admitting they plan to abuse it for stalking purposes.

Second quote was in response to learning you can only see what users have favorited images, if your user rank is janitor or higher. The implication being "Okay, so how can I become a janitor, so I can re-find this mysterious user from years ago?" OP intends to look through their favorites to find what user/users have most/all of them on their own favorites list(s).

two others have posted about it already but it's really creepy that they're requesting janitor for the sole purpose of finding a user via the favorites of a fetish post.

There were Janitor applications a while ago, and it might be possible to submit an application without it being some formal event, but I doubt somebody talking about finding their soulmate through a feature they were locked out of before would be approved.

That definitely looks serious, not joking, to me.
E621 isn't a site for finding your soulmate, try flist or something. If I'm remembering the right site, it's for sharing your fetishes so you can find somebody who shares your kinks and try from there.
