I’ve seen some wayward artists here that (in my opinion) are at my skill level or better, & they get hateful and such comments...

So, I must ask, is my art ok..? I have three uploads, the first one is pretty old but the two others done recently. Have not been drawing nsfw for too long, maybe a year now. Plus I’m always learning.

I mean, I personally think it’s ok. I enjoy drawing a lot I get decent money from doing commissions and designs, so I think that’s what counts on my end. But my interactions (comments & watches etc) aren’t the best. So I’d like to know what I need/should do.

Critique welcome, of course. Please be constructive and not rude about it. (“You should fix XYZ because of ABC” VS “your arts bad and you shouldn’t draw like that!”)

I'd say work on your structural anatomy a bit more. In most of your gallery, arms and legs are kind of limply flopping-out from the torso and don't seem to have solid joints anywhere. Learning to draw bone structures should also help you with hands and feet.

I do agree. I struggle especially with arms I’d say for anthro, and both for feral.

I'd disagree, I think your hips/groin and legs need a bit more work than the arms and shoulders on most of your anthros.
I don't have a good online list, but you should be able to find a good range by googling around. A friend of mine recommended Figure Drawing for All It's Worth by Andrew Loomis, which you can pick up for $10 on Amazon. It's a very realist take on art (published 1943,) but you should develop an understanding of how body parts realistically fit together for when you're developing your own less-realistic anatomy style: You don't have to follow the rules, you just need to use them to help build your own rules.

You beat me to it, Ratte. @Clowncrime, draw what makes you want to produce art. In literature, there's a genre of writing called pot-boilers: things authors would write to put food on the table, to literally keep the pot boiling with something in it. But they didn't consider that their art. It was the necessary evil, if you will, that paid the bills and kept them fed so they could do their art. You can do NSFW stuff if you need to, but you'll burn out if you're only producing drawings to get people to like you. Art is more than a business; it's a way of communicating the stuff inside you that has to be said. Practice is what lets you get it out the way you want.

No no- I meant that I post nsfw here because it’s more popular. I draw sfw as well of course. But I don’t plan to post it as often as nsfw here.

I’ve drawn all the time, and have always enjoyed it. I don’t think that’ll ever change.

There's no problems with posting SFW content here as long as it hits all the quality standards and is relevant to site. e926 exists, even, which automatically filters out questionable or explicit posts (assuming people apply the correct ratings to every picture--some slip through and get promptly corrected).

Most of my art is currently actually SFW, too, and there's no problems with that.

the structure and coloring is way too messy for my taste, but i think it's ok.

I came across an artist recently who was frustratedly asking for extra donation-funding so they can quit their apprenticeship. I think some people see the big artists' pulling in Patreon dollars through personal projects and look past the fact that anyone not pre-established in the top few percentiles of popularity is either heavily reliant on commission contracts or just a hobbyist.
That said, I think personal art is a great way for a commission-oriented artist to advertise their content styles.
