I'd think it would be better to swap the alias so that pred aliases to the full term of predator.

In vore, pred is used instead of predator.
Also the use of the term pred here is more common, in fact the pred tags exist for various forms and genders (anthro_pred, intersex_pred) and the tag predator, on this site, exists only for females (I excluded male_predator because there are only 4 posts with that tag).
