On the wiki page for tuft, almost all of them are singular: arm_tuft, ear_tuft, cheek_tuft etc.

But elbow_tufts is plural! For consistency, I think this should be changed so that elbow_tuft is the version that takes priority.

Currently, elbow_tuft is aliased to elbow_tufts. I tried submitting a new alias request to reverse this (i.e. to "elbow_tufts -> elbow_tuft"), but the site didn't let me, displaying the error message:

Error: A tag alias for elbow_tuft already exists

If it can't be done via a straightforward tag alias, would some other, more complicated process need to be done to make the singular one take priority?

A BUR will need to be made to remove the implications and aliases from elbow_tufts, then once that BUR is approved, another BUR needs to be made to recreate the implications and aliases for elbow_tuft instead.

remove implication elbow_tufts (0) -> arm_tuft (32699)
remove implication elbow_tufts (0) -> tuft (405725)

The tuft and arm_tuft implications need to be removed too, or else there may be problems making the elbow_tufts -> elbow_tuft alias.

Reason: The next BUR to establish elbow_tuft as the utilized tag, now that the aliases/implications were undone.

EDIT: The bulk update request #896 (forum #309782) has been approved by @gattonero2001.

It looks like the alias on topic #10339 is causing that # duplicate of has blocking transitive relationships, cannot be applied through bur error message. That alias might need to be rejected first before the BUR above can be approved.
