The tail_play tag states the following:

"The use of a tail to sexually stimulate oneself or another character, whether the tail be an erogenous zone or not. This can also include when the tail is being touched, pulled, or grabbed during intercourse."

Just because a character has a tail in their mouth does NOT mean there is sexual stimulation.

I think I'd prefer to deimplicate tail_play -> tail_fetish instead, and rewrite the tail_play wiki to not require sexual stimulation. Otherwise, if tail_play is to remain sexual-only, then tail_in_mouth -> tail_play should be deimplicated.

I think that tail_in_mouth should be deimplicated from tail_play. I also think that that tail_play and tail_fetish are the same thing and should be aliased.

The bulk update request #690 is active.

remove implication tail_in_mouth (1363) -> tail_play (10367)

Reason: *_play tags are fetish tags, so tail_in_mouth should be unimplicated.
(Though I don't know why we have both tail_play and tail_fetish. If there's some difference, I dunno what it is supposed to be.)

Perhaps when the fetishizing isn't necessarily sexual in nature, perhaps when hugging or clearly enjoying brushing another individual's tail?

would imply tail fetish but not tail play? That sounds backwards to me. A tail can be played with non-sexually, but most people would consider fetishizing a tail to be sexual.

The *_play tags generally denote a type of foreplay, so tail fetish and tail play are basically the same thing. Neither of those tags should be on those images.
