I guess that makes sense, but I can't tell why half of these posts are tagged fatal_vore, none of them really look any more fatal than regular vote.
fatal_vore has a few cases where the fatal-ness of vore is made somewhat clear, with digestion noises and whatnot, but death of the prey itself isn't shown clearly. Would it still qualify then?
I mean, the word fatal implies death in and of itself. I didn't notice the context of the tags, just noticed that I was seeing death when I have death blacklisted.
Any updates on this one?
I would be against it, fatal_vore can mean a character is at risk of imminent_death, currently undergoing the dying process, or is actually dead.
E.g., A character can be getting violently digested and experiencing fatal_wounds, but not necessarily dead yet.

This tag is kind of a mess with TWYS. Especially because some artists use digestion noises for non-fatal vore (e.g. post #2123685).

Fatal vore is a weird tag, it's not very TWYS, and death vore or death after_vore would describe the exact same concept. If death isn't depicted or portrayed in the image itself, but it's clear that it'll happen soon, imminent death or imminent digestion would be a better fit instead.

Also, hard vore already describes vore situations involving serious/fatal injuries to the victim(s) with the clear purpose of killing them. Maybe fatal_vore should just be aliased to hard_vore.

The problem with that is that "soft" vore can also result in the death of the ingested prey. Most uploaders are tagging "fatal vore" on uploads of soft vore, rather than hard vore, as the fatality of hard vore is pretty obvious. There's only one page of hard_vore fatal_vore as opposed to the nine pages total.

Right. Maybe just alias it to vore, then.
Perhaps Implication Fatal_Vore -> Implied_Death ?

Fatal vore can clearly depict death, so it wouldn't always be implied.

also implied_death is invalid
