Ok, serious question: do someone else's visits of e621 seem to coincide with being drunk?

I gotta stay away from sugar its bad for my belly. Tonight, its cabernet sauvignon/diet sprite at about 50/50

I say. I couldn't sleep at night if I consume too much sugar. More water I have to recommend.

Man, I wish to drink a Cosmo after playing that Bartender game.

People drink or smoke things for many reasons.

I personlly do not drink or smoke or "arpoon" myself something, even if or when I felt sad or lonely.

For one thing I have "e621" to see beautiful things... and for the other, I know that one have to gather courage and approach people interesting to you. If you are or feel rejected, try again, and again ... after all...

P(x>k) = Sum Comb(n,k) p^k * (1 - p) ^ (1 - k).

And nothing will change that.

;-).

Nah man I’m here all the time. Coincides with a different state of mind though.

Being drunk is kinda calming, relaxes inhibitions, makes you a bit emotional at times, a bit sleepy if you overdo it. Everyone's different though.

Huh, Thanks Dood!
When you put it like that I can understand
why peeps see it as a pastime and even why
some Doods would overdo it.
Sounds like a pretty neat state of mind to be in!

Cheers and Drink responsibly, m8! β•Ήβ€Ώβ•Ή)
Overdoing it could land ya in some pretty bad places, Dood
Sorry if I come off a bit preachy, Just care
about ya and wouldn't want anything bad to
happen to ya!

Alcohol is one of the worst drugs known to a man.
Physical dependency, social damage, overall toxicity - it has it all. Even heroin, infamous for its withdrawals, can't kill you for divorcing it. Alcohol can.
Alcohol consumed in large amounts produces a notoriously toxic compound called acetaldehyde. It's responsible for the effect we all know as the hangover. To this date, there's no known effective solution relieving this condition, except for deafening it by consuming more alcohol.
Yet even the people who are fully aware of those conditions will still consume it. Why? It has a unique profile not replicated by "alternative solutions." The sweet numbness combined with mild stimulation, the feeling of being alive, more so than usual. Even the substances acting upon the very same receptors still feel "off." Some people will consume it just because it's socially acceptable. Others will find the sort of deliberate enjoyment in it - that is before they become husks

nothing can numb the suffering why are we alive

Pro tip don't drink on an empty stomach. I drank a Pink Whitney (vodka and pink lemonade) while making a tortilla pizza and I got so drunk. I hated every moment of it. It felt so damn weird and floaty and foggy. I don't really like the taste of alcohol. I may be a lightweight but I don't drink. I don't like it. I do like wine. This probably saves my life by preventing me from being alcoholic.

I am a little bored here, so I have question ...

In the past I had some trouble with alcohol... but not so much in the usual sense... I explain:

I never really take alcohol by myself. Just it is really hot, I buy a beer or two, some snacks and see a movie, usually with friends or relatives... or in family meetings, people invite me something like Rum with Coca-Cola, or a glass of wine... I reluctantly take it, but never really had a problem in those occasions.

However, there were times when I was stressed, and took alcohol in (those times) Student meetings, or with friends after work... and you know, the typical out of control, when you end up in the floor inconcious and vomiting (taken to the Hospital), or dancing in the table (almost, but you understand). Those episodes were few, but devastating, and in one occasion I lost a job after that (a job I detested, anyway).

Currently, I have sex now a then with a female friend... but our relation is somehow complicated (emotionally)... and I discovered that taking something before our encounters (say, a glass of vodka or tequila), things went more or less more "smooth" and even I performed a little better in bed (altough making more exercise lately - running, iron pumping - seems to be the principal reason).

Given my story,... do you thing that I should continue to do it like that, or I am playing a kind of "Russian Roulete" here? Could it be possible that I lose control, withouf even noticing?

(Please say me that I should stop doing something as stupid).

xd.

Thanks.
