Something about us having not found a single planet habitable to us without special equipment makes Earth feel cozy. It might not be the safest, or prettiest planet, but it's ours. I just hope we don't ruin it

I think it's cool that Earth is basically a giant, self-contained spaceship.

@blkreit, seeing that your thread is just one month old, I respond.

Concepts like "Nature", "Physics", "Cosmos" have a deep meaning from the root of Western Civilization and Phylosophy. We ourselves are, of course, "natural beings", although most of us live today in an environment for which we didn't evolved: Cities.

Beutiful cities, ugly cities... but we long for things like a lot of free space, pristine air, and things like plants and animals... marvels the result of 3.4 Gy of evolution, with every cell being more complex and perfect that anything Mankind has, as of today, created.

Maybe "Furry" is a modern version of something like a chamanistic ritual that unconciously reflects our need to be closer to other animals.

Studying Natural Sciences - diligently - will open concience to the complexity of nature, and with time, and even deeper apreciation of its beauty.

Birth and dreaming are still crazy things to me: We bring life into the world, and live whole new adventures and sort through mysteries like every night. Every day.

I guess I love adventures. The big ones, the little ones. Earth is full of adventures. I wish it was easy to explore most of them.
