I understand it's opinion that gives my art downvotes but I'm pretty sure my art isn't that bad. People might be too nitpicky that it isn't as good as the rest or just hateful and wants to make people feel bad. I'm trying what I can best and I feel like I'm not doing a bad work on it.

Unless I do and I need to deactivate my account. I've come here to show my work to people and if it gets removed then I don't know if I can stay here.

I use Paint.Net.

The one that got downvoted is too dark to see anything basically. You are just starting and your drawings are simple so it looks like people are hard on you, try to not let get it to you.

Thank you. I'm gonna hopefully be on a break tho. Too much was happening in a day.

People don't have the same emotional attachment to your art as you do.
What you perceive as "want[ing] to make people feel bad" is an assessment based on your understanding of color theory (black text against dark grey backgrounds does not provide sufficient contrast for reading, same for blue text on a dark-blue background), construction of figures, and understanding of perspective. Unless they're in your inbox calling you names and dropping slurs, you're exaggerating. /ic/ has some decent learning resources, here's one of them.

Doesn't look too dark to me, but I feel the blurry screencap background is an issue. That looks to be one of those old, low-polygon low-texture games, which doesn't blur well.

Don't let downvotes get to you. If people want to offer some form of criticism, they can actually offer it. Votes can come for too wide a variety of reason to really determine what they mean.

And you people are right in "Not letting things get to me" as downvotes happens anyway, everywhere and anytime.
The Oblivion screencap wasn't the best solution for a sci-fi based character I admit and yes I should work more on painting my own backgrounds. I'm starting to do that now so it's a good thing.
