Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: missing_arm -> amputee

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #41372 missing_arm -> amputee has been rejected.

Reason: amputee_arm is aliased to missing_arm, yet missing_arm doesn't implicate amputee
missing_arm wiki page says "for when a character is missing an arm, often an amputee"; but by TWYS, there is no way to indicate that a character's missing arm is not the result of amputation, unless they're shown being born/hatched that way...?

EDIT: The tag implication missing_arm -> amputee (forum #316784) has been rejected by @NotMeNotYou.

if it's a flesh-stump for a cyborg arm it'd still be amputee
if it's a mechanical attachment point for a mechanical_arm that'd be detachable_limbs and/or detachable_arms and not missing_arm so my point still stands

addendum: most current posts with both missing_arm and cyborg are of a character who still has their prosthetic_arm attached??? this does not fit the use case because the arm isn't missing at all it's right there. prosthetic_arm does not alias to missing_arm so i think it's reasonable to not count that as "missing" since we know exactly where it is
