Topic: [Feature] Show file type on reverse image search

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

Requested feature overview description.
When using the reverse image search you can currently only see the the file size and resolution, e.g. 787 KB (1280x962). I'm proposing the file type is also included so it would show something along the lines of 787 KB PNG (1280x962).

The file type is already available through iqdb_queries.json so I imagine it would be quite easy to add.

Why would it be useful?
This feature would make it faster to check the file type without having to click the image link. The file type would be useful information when using the reverse image search to see whether the version of the image you have is a superior quality to the uploaded version.

File size alone could be used as an indicator, but is not always accurate.

What part(s) of the site page(s) are affected?

This sounds like something I would use myself and isn't difficult at all to implement. If Kira isn't faster than me I'll add it myself sometime.

Edit: I'll need a bit longer for this than I thought because the current development environment doesn't actually come with iqdb installed. I'll need to add that first before I can make any changes. I'm tracking the issue for that here
