Implicating absol → feline

Absols are felinoid Pokemon.
You mean felid. And I don't think Absol looks enough like a cat to warrant the implication. It lacks both ears and a tail (unless you count the horns) and it's paws are quite different.
Supposedly, Absol is based on Chinese/Japanese folklore being the creature "Bai Ze" or "Hakutaku". This creature appeared as a bovine/felid mix with a human face.

We don't use implications like that because in pics like post #16818 the character on the right is considered a human (not feline) absol

Technically we're all 'scape'goats.
Honestly though, Absols look more like a hybrid between canine and feline

Mostly it looks like an absol.

It looks like a Pokemon, we should implicate it to that.

Implication denied. These types of implications don't usually work for pokemon. Pokemon are a unique type of tag that's almost as much a character as it is a species, so they can be drawn as a different species and they will still need to be tagged by their pokemon name when that happens. Implicated species tags for their canon traits won't work in those circumstances.

There are a handful of pokemon that have implications to species, are there any thoughts on unimplicating them?

Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Got interrupted while replying and then had a busy week. Yes, the existing implications should be undone because the problems are inherent to all the pokemon tags. I compiled a short list of ones mentioned in the related threads on this subject. I handled a lot of the pending ones, and all the ones in the list below used to be implicated but I deleted those. If someone wants to go through them and clean them up, that's fine. It will probably get corrected over time anyways. However, I doubt this list was complete, so if there's any more that are still implicated to a real life species, then let me know.
arcanine - caninefennekin - fennecmightyena - hyenabraixen - fennecrattata - ratninetales - fox

Yep, but it was a good question both times. Also, got those now too, thanks! If you find any stragglers, don't hesitate to lemme know about it. We gotta catch 'em all, after all. =P

I'll go through all 721 of them right now :O
Edit: Yeah this is too confusing on a tablet. I will literally go through these when I get a few minutes on my desktop though.
