Reason: According to the wiki another name for the male symbol is the mars symbol. So performing this alias will help streamline excess tags.

That would be because the symbol of Mars is used to represent "male". If anything, this should either be inverted or care should be taken to make sure from context what that symbol is being used for.

By the way, the Mars and Mars_(planet) tags seem to need cleanup, on that note.
