I have no idea what's going on but as of late, my blacklist suddenly just...doesn't work? It does before I get into a post. During a search, images that have blacklisted tags don't show up, but while I'm going image by image then they appear, the blacklist is not toggled off, and it's definitely done correctly, with one tag under another since I specifically don't like certain things in any scenario

If by "going image by image" you mean clicking on the "next" and "previous" buttons on the post page, the blacklist doesn't apply to those and never has done. It's a client-side filter, not a server-side one.

It has applied for me before, I mean, the post showed up with the image/video saying "Blacklisted" but that isn't the case anymore and I don't understand why

Is your blacklist currently struckout? That means it's off, not on.
Make sure your sidebar looks like this and the image should be blacklisted as so.

Were you by any chance looking at videos? There's a longstanding bug which prevents video posts from being replaced with the placeholder image.

blacklists do indeed seem to not be working.

I have blacklisted 'crush' and yet am flooded with such images.

Yes, checked the list, 'crush' is there, just not working

I guarantee that the blacklist is, in fact, working.

Is your blacklist on? Check the "Blacklisted" section in the sidebar - if the tag is crossed out, it will not be filtered out: https://i.imgur.com/ZP5zgul.png
Click on it to re-enable it, or click on "Re-enable all" to turn all of the filters back on. On mobile, that section would be near the bottom of the page, under all the posts.

It was just that one label, all other tags were working. In fact, I added crushed_fetish to an image and like magic it was invisible.
Before that 'crush' was clearly visible on the image tag AND in my ignore list.

So again for a test I added 'crush' AGAIN to my ignore list and like magic it began to work again!
I have no explanation, it was clearly there on my list, no typo or anything.

So, if any of you find one ignore tag not working, just re-add it to your list! ;)

It's difficult to work out what's been going on from your explanation, but just in case: Wildcards don't work in blacklists. If you wanted to blacklist all tags which include the string "crush", you'll have to list them out manually.

I know wildcards don't work, I'm telling you I looked @ my list and "crush" was there clear as day. Right below it was "crush_fetish".
The image not blocked also had 'crush' clearly listed as a tag. Yet didn't work. It used to work, that type of image HAD been blocked.
I have no explanation, but the solution was re-add the tag.

This may be a bug, IDK, I just report it here as this is 'Site Bug Reports'.
