The wiki page for desperation contains just one sentence:
For when someone desperately needs to go to the bathroom, use omorashi instead.
This is apparently news to 95% of the people who have ever applied the tag to an image. Worse, a lot of them are tagged with desperation in place of omorashi.
The remaining 5% are an eclectic mix of barely related concepts. post #3012878 shows a guy frantically jacking off. post #2997176 shows a kobold begging to be fucked by a dragon. In the background of post #2911928, some dude is getting impatient for his turn in the gangbang. I'm not sure why the tag's on post #2856106 at all other than the cub is straight up not having a good time. What the fuck is even going on with post #2905875.
The problem with the omorashi tag, which I suspect is holding it back, is that it's obscure jargon that few people outside of the kink in question have heard of. (Remember that the nature of an archive is that uploaders won't necessarily be into the kinks they upload - I myself have uploaded quite a few things on my blacklist.) Instead, I propose splitting desperation into subtags:
- pee_desperation (alias omorashi to this)
- poop_desperation (currently I don't think we really have a tag for this? It's both common and unpopular enough to warrant a strict separation from pee-only stuff)
- pent_up (for sexual desperation, already exists but I suspect it's undertagged)
- Do we already have a good tag for someone really desperate to jump another character's bones?
The main tag should probably be invalidated since I reckon all of the other potential meanings have less ambiguous tags anyway.
