create implication tears_of_pain (777) -> crying (36627)
create implication tears_of_pleasure (3567) -> crying (36627)
create implication tears_of_rage (57) -> crying (36627)
create implication tears_of_desperation (170) -> crying (36627)
create alias tears_of_orgasmic_joy (94) -> tears_of_pleasure (3567)

Reason: Tears_of_joy already implies crying, so why not the rest?

Also, tears_of_orgasmic_joy is really just tears_of_pleasure, so aliasing it would be helpful in streamlining.

Crying and tears seem to be two separate concepts. The former being used when a character is actively crying/bawling (i.e., 😭) while the latter is used when a character only has tear drops around their eyes, but is not actively crying (i.e., 😢).

Will need to either rewrite the wiki for tears or to imply everything to tears instead.

Yeah, crying I think is for particularly intense display of emotion, not just the existence of tears with emotion. For example, post #3063506 would probably count as tears_of_pleasure (or embarrassment or something), but not crying.

Eh… not really? One is joy, the other is laughter. I could see there being some cases of overlap between the two, but I’d think these are going to be pretty easily distinguished most of the time. Is the character laughing or just overjoyed?

While we’re at it… laughing_tears -> laugh would make sense, too.

Nay on tears_of_rage at least. "Crying", of course, can mean both screaming in pain (mental or physical) or sorrowfully shedding tears in silence. In rage, though, shedding tears is not necessarily crying.
