Topic: [APPROVED] Tag alias: closed_mouth -> mouth_closed

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag alias #56090 closed_mouth -> mouth_closed has been approved.

Reason: Both mean the same thing but mouth_closed has more uses than closed_mouth, I feel like an Alias would be a good addition for it to convert posts with closed_mouth in use.

Apologies for the repost, I think it's right now.

EDIT: The tag alias closed_mouth -> mouth_closed (forum #323996) has been approved by @bitWolfy.

Should there even be such a tag? Isn't -open_mouth enough? If it's not enough, shouldn't it be consistent with open_mouth?

If an image has a smiling character [ :) ], then you tag as smile and closed_smile, if the image has a smiling character with their mouth open [ :D ], then you tag it as open_smile and open_mouth.

I feel like in tagging needs, because of that, it can be useful and it should still be a tag. Tho I do feel like you might be right about the consistency in the order it should be.

open_smile implies smile and open_mouth, so a closed_smile would be the same as smile -open_mouth.

I could see confusion when it comes to multiple characters (one has an open_mouth for talking, and the other has a closed_smile, so -open_mouth won't find that post with a closed mouth), but plenty of tags have issues working right with more than one character.
