Reason: Currently, black mage is being used as a species tag, when it typically is meant to refer to a class from the RPG. This was a concept cemented in Final Fantasy 9, where they weren't just mages, but dolls or golems created by Queen Brahne, making them their own species, but other than these mage golems, one can still be a Black Mage in style, not species.

After looking through the list of images, these three are the only exceptions, where it's obviously (at least in those first two) some other species, their face just blackened by the hat or magic. That this sort of exception is not only possible but very much a sensible "mistake" proves the need for a separate species tag.

Wouldn't mass update because the majority of tag instances seem to be of black mages from other Final Fantasy franchise games, such as 1 or Tactics, which lorewise are generally humans and other playable species, i.e. Moogles in Tactics Advance.

Tagwise, we "tag what we see". If they still look like a black figure with glowing eyes, then it fits. Those three instances were the only ones that were exceptions, where it only looked like the face itself was shrouded, not a black body.
