And what about camel toes? I would think that the third example of the trio above, and this lone one both count as a pussy shot, but there's no actual pussy visible in the lower example, just a camel toe. It's focused on the right region, and you know the right part is there, but it's not directly visible.

That's true. We could easily define it the either way. Personally, I would say pussy_shot should be reserved for when pussy is visible, and post #161951 should be called only panty_shot. I would also support rejecting posts like post #3008765 and post #3067553 as being pussy_shots.

If we do decide to reject the panty_shot cases, we should remove the tag from pussy_shot -pussy panties before the alias goes through.

I think there is a tagging error in post 161951

Just want to point out relevant tags should anybody miss them:

• crotch_shot
• genital_focus
• balls_focus / balls_shot
• penis_close-up / penis_focus / penis_shot
• pussy_close-up / pussy_focus / pussy_shot

The counterpart tags penis_focus & penis_shot specially differentiate that *_focus be used when the focus is on the object (i.e., genitalia) while the rest of the body is visible, and that, *_shot be used when the object is the only thing in frame.

The *_close-up tags are a major grey area and overlaps with the other tags, presumably to be used in tandem with close-up. I had suggested to invalidate it in the past, see topic #27399.

Alright, that seems fair. A panty_shot wouldn't get an implication to crotch_shot though, because it could instead be a butt_shot.

There's nothing stopping us from creating anus_shot. Butt_shot sounds like it would include panty shots that are slightly further back than a crotch shot.

Candidates to create an anus_shot tag: set #32823. Pulled from butt_shot ~spread_anus ~gaping_anus ~puffy_anus and the works of darkmare.
I tried to avoid posts where other genitalia had a significant role. This naturally biased the results towards male, since penises are larger and therefore tend to be partially obscured.
