Hmm I don’t know about that... Rape on its own doesn’t imply that one has to be a penetrator, it just means someone was forced to do sex. Right now there’s no wiki page for reverse rape, so no consensus as to what that means. Is it a person forcing themselves to have sex, a penetrated forcing a penetrator (might imply that only men can rape) into sex, or is it the opposite of non-consent which would just be consensual sex?

the term "reverse rape" is founded on the idea that there's one "proper", "normal" way for rape to happen (ie, man raping woman). factually and morally, rape is rape. since there already exists tagging for the gender of the person committing the rape there's no need for this specific change. particularly not since many people want what you'd call more "objective" tags without values assigned to them.

forced_penile_stimulation is a bit inelegant, probably there is a better way to phrase it, but it would cover anything where a dick is forcibly stimulated. it does what it says on the tin.

I'll go ahead and submit bottom_raping_top for consideration. Works fine regardless of gender, can cover potential edge-cases involving tentacles or other non-penile insertions, and can continue to combine with tags like male_penetrating, gynomorph_penetrated, etc.

I'm not fond of using 'top' and 'bottom' in regards to sexual situations. It's too ambiguous if it means the character physically on top/bottom, or the character that's penetrating/penetrated (or the character that's taking the more active role vs a more passive one).

I think the x_raping_y tags are a bit much. It looks like more than 3/4ths the entire BUR given what all the potential combinations would imply. x_rapist and x_raped are enough, IMO.

I think ambiguous_rape might be a bit too ambiguous to alias to ambiguous_rapist. currently the tag seems like it might being used in the same way as questionable consent is supposed to.

For what it's worth, I've been using these forms when I see them. It's a lot of tags, but mostly it seems to be things that'll discourage people forgetting the (almost as large list of) implied tags. I haven't been using X_raping_Y precisely because I didn't even notice them being used. Chicken and egg, haha.

-1 to x_raping_y for the same reasons Watsit gave. The rest are good though, x_rapist and y_raped.

OK, so at least use the penetration ones. The x_raping_y ones are going to go away, anyways? They seem useful mainly to grab all those implications, anyways, right? If it adds a bunch of tags due to multiplier effect, but they then prevent people forgetting to tag 2+ tags when used... sigh. If they're used, they're used, but like I said: Don't think I've seen many of them, if any. I forgot (or didn't see) this thread, entirely, it seems. :/

I think the main reason that the main two x/p/y tag families (gender and form) deserve to exist is the fact that *_penetrated and *_penetrating aren't necessarily going to be sex acts because of sex_toys and like autopenetration, but one character penetrating another is always going to be sex so we can have the x/p/y -> sex implications. from memory, sex was actually pretty undertagged on, like, normal penetrative sex prior to those implications.

for most situations the result of tag hybridization is just the same tags but glued together, like with the recently discussed male_anthro_with_human_penis. but occasionally, like combining *_penetrating/*_penetrated with the pairing tags, the resultant tags have emergent properties that might warrant a contiued existence.
