The tag alias #56738 whip_mark -> whip_marks has been rejected.

Reason: They're the same thing.whip_mark currently has 8 instances, while whip_marks has 613.

While the latter is used more, shouldn’t it be the other way around? plural -> singular

spank_mark is currently aliased to spank_marks so if that's the case that one should be reversed too

I would also reverse it. I hate tagging stuff in plural, if there is just on thing of it. E.g. eye colores are plural even though heterochromia is a thing -n-

ehh, eyes make sense to me since it’s more common for both eyes to be the same color. but this one’s just odd to me, you can whip or spank someone just once and it’s not an uncommon thing

Three out of four replies so far seem to prefer the other way. Also, meh-votes outnumber thumbs-up on the original post 3 to 2. I have now proposed the opposite direction instead, at https://e621.net/forum_topics/32688 , alias 56752.
