What is an equisapien? Maybe the answer to your question lies in the fact that that equisapiens are not part of popular culture, in comparison, zootopia was released by a major company and made waves throughout the world, and thus more people had exposure to it, and more artists as a result.

Sorry To Bother You only made $18 million. It was well-received by critics but by no means a Cultural Phenomenon™ (Get Out, by comparison, made over $250m). Apparently just not enough furry degenerates saw it.
