remove implication curvaceous (5) -> voluptuous (79928)
remove alias curvy (0) -> curvaceous (5)
Reason:
The implication makes no sense at all and the curvaceous tag itself is pointless; once the implication is removed, curvaceous should be aliased to curvy figure.
Why remove the implication?
Based on its wiki definition, curvaceous was a redundant, less descriptive tag for hourglass figure...
Describes a character with a clear-cut, often exaggerated, hourglass figure; a character with big_breasts (and larger), and wide_hips, yet a small_waist.
The examples of curvaceous were identical to any character tagged as hourglass_figure, compare post #1596989 and post #1476808 - is there anything really distinct between these two body types besides breast size? Could you tell which is intended to be "curvaceous"?
As for the implication, Voluptuous, as a tag, has been interpreted by users to generally mean female/gynomorph characters with wide hips, thick thighs, big breasts, and an overall curvy figure, often with a wide or thick waist, often chubby or overweight - think "thicc" "plus sized" etc.
There's no reason why curvaceous should have implied voluptuous, and the implication has only served to muddy up the voluptuous tag.
Why get rid of curvaceous entirely?
- Tag Name: "curvaceous" doesn't carry a specific description, or have a connotation that would lead to users tagging a a specific body type (as hourglass figure, pear-shaped figure and voluptuous do)
- "curvaceous" is just a synoynm for "curvy"
- Tag Intent: Entirely redundant, as mentioned above, just describes what is better tagged as an hourglass figure
- The intent for curvaceous could only be understood by looking at the wiki page
- Usage: Users didn't know what to do with it, post under the tag were all over the place in body types, it was essentially used as tag stuffing
All of these images are (or were) tagged "curvaceous"
The curvaceous tag has now been completely purged, posts under it were retagged as other more descriptive tags as needed, so dealing with this issue now is pretty easy and straight forward.
