Topic: About lack of humor

Yes I'm going to bitch, and no-one will read this. But really? I made a joke about "jizzing" to a picture and it gets downvoted a billion times? I didn't actually?

I wouldn't expect people to be so sexually repressed on a porn site. It's another way to appreciate art. I won't make explict comments any further on this site, and I'm very sorry if it offends you.

So go back to your mama and suck that bottle.

Merry Christmas.

Like the other thread recently about downvoted comments, I'm going to say the same thing here; If you care a ton about the score on your comments, you can hide/remove them if the score does not satisfy you.

Yeah, 'creepy comments' aren't really appreciated around here. It makes artists, character owners, and sometimes even just uploaders feel uncomfortable. You can say something explicit, so long as you can keep it from being creepy. Worried your comment might come across as creepy? Then don't post it.

And don't worry too much about down votes. I got down voted to -3 or so for asking something like "so Knuckles is apparently a meat head now?" on a Sonic Boom image that portrayed just that. I asked because I hadn't heard much about the new game, and was surprised and curious. People down vote for really weird reason sometimes, so don't take it personally, at least not until you get into the double digits. Its not like the points really mean anything.

Edit: Also got down voted a bit for asking if there was a difference between a rugby ball and a football after someone mentioned the two. I'm still scratching my head about that one.

Is there a way to find your own most downvoted comments?

Using Xch3l's script, you can just click on your "comment score" in your account. Otherwise I think you have to so it manually

Rugby fans and american football fans never liked each other

If you ever start blaming your audience for not finding your jokes funny, it's a pretty good sign that you have failed as a comedian.
Reclaim your honor by making us laugh.

Sports are serious business.

Exactly why we expect a serious answer. What are the differences between Rugby and American Football? Lets make a list of all of the technical differences.

I'm seriously asking, though, as, like Tokaido, I have no idea.

The explicit nature of the comment isn't the problem, it's the fact that what you said was damn well creepy.

One thing I learnt here is that, comments lack tone. Example, saying damn :( and daaaaaamn :D are two different things. So next time, what I say will have to be more obvious.

I think that saying "I want to jizz to this" is creepy regardless of tone, actually.

To be fair, the comment was "I'm thinking of something witty to say, but I keep jizzing".

You know, "witty" and "funny".

Rugby: Ball - Players

American Football: Ball - Players

This video kinda explains it the best imo

Differences I'm seeing:

  • American Football uses the armored outfits, Rugby doesn't.
  • Rugby has H-shaped goals, American Football has Y shaped goals.
  • Both games emphasis the cheerleaders' bodies too much.

That's really all... It seems that the people who recorded it also have something against Rugby, calling them "Tries" all the time when they seem to do equivalently to American Football players.

There's also football and soccer, and the problem that it's called soccer in the US and football in most other places.

It's not called a touchdown in rugby. Also, in rugby, you can pass the ball to each other even after you're tackled. In american football, you can only pass it once each play.

Right...

I've got a feeling you won't be around here much longer.

In american football, you can only pass it [forwards] once each play. It may be dangerous, yet there are still times players will 'lateral' the ball ...

I like this quote (paraphrasing):

Rugby is a hooligan's game played by gentlemen, while football (soccer) is a gentleman's game played by hooligans.
