To be more precise, Komarukoune's link to here has links to their Twitter (which doesn't exist) and Tumblr that's titled "Ukyu Works", as well as to ukyukyukyu's Tumblr and ukukyu's webclap thing ( clap.webclap.com/clap.php?id=ukyukyu ).
E621 artist profiles don't count since an alias or implication requestor can also easily be the one who just added in those very links on the artist page. While you might be responsible and thorough, another might not be, and it's almost impossible for the rest of us to tell the difference. It's better to use off-site references.

Stop.
I mean it. Stop using whatever the tag wiki says as proof.
This is not the first time I'm telling you this.
Hell, it's not even the first time I'm doing it today.

It seems like their page literally stopped existing a few days ago.
But overall, yes, looks legit.

It's weird to see someone do good work while actively ignoring everyone else.

The best I can guess while giving them the benefit of the doubt is that they post these and then move on. They never check their requests because they see no need to, so never see the complaints posted in the threads.
Which doesn't really explain why they wouldn't heed the Dmails bitWolfy must have sent them. Either they just dismiss the big, honkin' banner message without further thought or they don't know how to get to their message center. Only bitWolfy can tell us whether they reply to his Dmails. If they do, then why they don't bother to add in the necessary links for easy verification is beyond me.
Sometimes, they look like they might be starting to come around before slipping back into old habits, and I really hate to be a bother since I don't really want to come across as ungrateful and drive away someone who clearly, honestly wants to help even if they need a bit of training up to do to be even better at it.

To be fair, I did not send them any DMails since February.
They don't respond do DMails either. They did provide proof links in their next few requests, but as you said – they revert to their old habits quickly.
