Reason: I believe if marine_explorer_builzel and alolan_vulpix deserve their own tags, I hope shopkeeper_kecleon deserve their own

There was a purple kecleon named Reddy who showed up in the anime.

I don't know who Marine Explorer Buizel (not Builzel) is, but it's a character tag. Alolan Vulpix is a species.

From Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon , same as Archaeologist Mawile, Dashing Wanderer Ampharos, and Astronomer Jirachi.

Please don't ask me if they deserve character tags, I don't know enough about the game.

Oh, them. If memory serves, despite their titles, they have no defining traits. They aren't characters, it's just the game's way of separating the "one joinable pokemon" of that species.

They are specific characters from the game. They have specific personalities, dialog, activities, etc. Just in normal Pokemon fashion, they're named after their species. In the game, Marine Explorer Buizel is simply called "Buizel", but he is a specific buizel who does particular things throughout the story. Same with the others. It's in the same vein as Grovyle the Thief, Shiny Celebi (eotds), and Guildmaster Wigglytuff; in the Explorers games, they're just called "Grovyle", "Celebi", and "Wigglytuff", but they are specific characters with particular personalities and actions that can identify them. There's also Ash's Pikachu to specify Ash's particular pikachu, separate from other pikachu.

In the case of Purple Kecleon (character), it is also a specific character that's appeared in the Rescue Team and Explorers games. However, I don't think aliasing to shopkeeper_kecleon is a good idea because there's actually two kecleon shopkeepers in town; a normal colored one, and a purple colored one. They're brothers that both run a shop from the same booth, though they sell different items (the normal one sells normal items like apples and seeds, the purple one sells TMs). They too are specific characters with particular dialog (which is how you learn they're brothers, since they say it) and do particular things. There's also a normal colored kecleon shopkeeper that appears in dungeons, and it's not said if it's the same kecleon from town or not (I think there are hints pointing both ways; in Super Mystery Dungeon, Kecleon mentions a network of kecleon shopkeepers that he gets information from, but in another game I recall a mention that kecleon disappears from town when you go exploring).
