Topic: Reposting an edited version of a deleted post

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I had just been wondering
Reposting a deleted post is against site rules
I am aware
But
What if i edit the image from the post?
Is it still ok to repost?

If so, how drastic should the edit be?

I'd suggest avoiding trying to sidestep the rules by posting edits of already deleted posts.

If it is one of your own works, it depends on the deletion reason.
If it was deleted due to image errors (e.g., corruption), quality (e.g., too small, image compression), or irrelevance to site (e.g., purely non-furry content), then you can address the issues and repost it once more.
If it was deleted due to not meeting artistic standards, nothing short of a complete rework and a massive improvement of your drawing skills are expected.

Also, may i get some constructive criticism for https://e621.net/posts/3283111?q=user%3ADarly_buni ?
Just so i know what to improve

It's not art advice but this set should be tagged cybernetic_arm instead of mechanical_arm
I guess mechanical_* is a whole prefix I missed when sorting those out that also can't be smoothly dealt with because people are tagging it for robots and robotic_armswhich people are still tagging on posts that should just be cybernetic_arm..
and come to think of it I'm not sure how I missed that cybernetic_limb doesn't imply cybernetics yet.
