So heres the thing, they are technically 2 different things, one is the app, the other being the actual being, but it appears as though people use both interchangeably, and I don't think people are drawing the app a ton...

We might need to clarify the tag for the app. People are going to tag 1471-a as 1471, but if we make it scp-1471_(app), then they won't tag that one.

I think the best option would be to instead have scp-1471 aliased to mal0_(software) and scp-1471-a aliased to mal0_(character) so there is a distinction between the two in the tag itself.

I don't think there's a point in tagging the fictional software itself at all.

Especially since the character is the app's only content, even in-universe. It has no interface. There's no way of even knowing if the app is in use or if what we're seeing is something like the phone's camera (which 1471-a is known to tamper with).

At best it's TWYK.

So I'm upvoting this alias.

The software may be potenttially be depicted clearly enough that it's not just generic "phone screen filler". In this case, it would still be TWYS. I'm currently too lazy to check and see if there actually is one picture depicting that though.

I still think this alias should be rejected, and instead alias scp-1471-a to mal0_(software) and scp-1471 to mal0, even if the software tag become empty, at least it's more organized this way, I feel.

I think post #3795432 might be a good example of 1471.
As for the latter, you've got it backwards again. 1471 is the app, 1471-a is Mal0 herself. This info can be found on the SCP Wiki, but I will quote it here for ease of access. "SCP-1471 is a free 9.8MB application for mobile devices ... SCP-1471-A appears as a large humanoid figure with a canid-like skull and black hair."
