Rag is a poor choice in naming. It wiill be confused with dishrags and such. Assuming anybody ever decides to make artwork of an anthropomorphic rag, of course (Towlie's cousin?).
I would suggest the artist's tag be rag_(artist). Maybe switch the alias around, but one way or another.

the artist is more widely known as rag. and it wont be confused with dishrags because the period is part of the artist name.

...I didn't even see that. People tagging them as an artist might not see that period, either, and end up tagging it wrong. Should still have the suffix _(artist).

The difference between rag vs rag. is likely to lead to confusion and mistags over time. So both apricolor and rag. are aliased to --> rag._(artist) instead for clarity.
