Reason: the tag earth is used under the implication that it is a planet. If you look up "earth -planet" the results are a good example of this. The only exceptions are people who use earth incorrectly with earth ponies. if someone needs to use the other definition of earth. They can always use the "dirt" tag.

Not to mention the classical Western element or the Chinese element AKA wu-xing would likely not be tagged independently.
