Topic: Should comics be tagged with multiple_scenes?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I can't help but notice that a significant proportion of posts currently tagged multiple_scenes are in fact comics.

Is this correct? To my mind, there is a line between a post containing multiple depictions of the same character at different points in time, and a full-on comic page. Tagging comics with multiple_scenes just makes it harder to find examples of the former. And you can't imply comics to multiple_scenes because it would be invalid for single-panel splash pages or title pages.

generally I'd say try to tag it similar to how you'd tag multiple_scenes in an animation, if the panels are more or less contiguous than it's not multiple_scenes, if there's a "cut" where some amount of time has passed and/or the characters are in a new location than it is. also this should extend to how you tag character count tags, i.e. the post should not be tagged solo just because one of the panels contains only one character, unless that character is in a diffrent scene than the rest.
