Ok, first of all what would a taur that looks female but has a sheath and balls, but no visable vag be considered, ive been tagging them as dickgirl (and been told off numerous times that im the one whos wrong). I know chakats are technically supposed to be all hermaphrodite. however thats a "what you know" info.
Second, why do people sometimes put, dickgirl AND herm on the same post when its just one picture usually of the dickgirl tagging type.
and lastly, why are people so....stubborn. theres times where i have to revert the herm/dickgirl or other tags because ether the poster or someone else keeps changing it back of course the ones who continually do that i usually report

also, MLP herms and stuff... still rather vauge on that, been leaving them alone becuse i honestly dont have any idea how to tag them x.o;

The issue with that is that half of all dickgirl and herm pictures are tagged as "male" and "gay" just because ponies don't have breasts. This is why tags like Futashy need to exist. :|

Dick + boobs - vagina = dickgirl
Dick + vagina = herm
vagina + boobs - dick = female
vagina - boobs - dick = cuntboy(boi?)

Also, there are people who don't seem to know that (to my knowledge) dickgirls (mtf), the antithesis of cuntboys (ftm), are separate from herms (futas), which are the antithesis of maleherms

I'm not 100% sure what the difference is between intersex and ambiguous gender/androgynous though, assuming we're keeping with the tag what you see rule guideline

Intersex is an umbrella tag for all characters that fall outside of the typical gender binary. That means dickgirls, cuntboys, and herms should be tagged intersex (implications take care of this). Ambiguous gender means that the gender of the character can't be determined from the image.

eh, MOST MLP herms are a good example, basicly ive been told go by face shape, tag them male, tag them crossgender...it gets really damn confusing. as for the TWYS rule, ive tagged chakats as dickgirls then been told off about how all chakats are hermaphrodite...

lol i mean im vigilant in my tagging, i check at least twice a day, but i am only one girl after all. i still think the preopsed option of having a tag rule check before people tag stuff would be good. it gets seriously annoying when noobs show up and go "NUUHU! its on her/his SITE!!!" or "so an so is a herm its mine!" its like ARGH!? cuz i gota check the herm tag constantly for people reverting tags back when not correct.

Anyway, a self imposed job like mine gains no rewards cept a job well done. more than not it gains criticism and idiots who like to bitch for the sake of bitchin'

I mean i know im a hard ass, it was how i was brought up and ive learned that if you put your foot down on someones tail and dont budge you tend to get there attention as well as get the point across......or at least thats what i used to think, till i met the type of fur who is so insainly stubborn and full of themselfs thell attack you simply for correcting them, case in point a certain user a few weeks back that whent after me and another user.

Ill make another thread if i need to, but hopefuly an admin will notice this.

Isnt there somthing you guys can install on the tagging page that will at least display the genders?

something like this maybe that's right under the tags. i mean it wouldnt hurt right? Then the admin can be abit firmer when dealing with people who say "no your gona do this my way or ill mke your life hell"

It's being worked on, but it's takes longer than other projects because it's hard to identify from the thumbnails

I've already proven that "face shape" is a load of crap in MLP for identifying gender.
There are male characters with what is claimed to be a female face shape and vice versa.
I'm talking about in the actual show too, not just random fan art.

#1 - Tag dickgirl according to e621's rules. Chakats are canonically all herms but there are non-herm ones out there because furries give zero fucks about canon.

#2 - Because they are dumb and don't understand the difference or because it's actually the fault of two different posters.

#3 - Because gender is an important issue to people. Duh? This is an emotional issue for most people, not a logical one. I was just a casual user of e621 until I saw you retagging pictures of me as dickgirl which offended me. Nothing gets people involved in the process of their local government quite like being pissed off. You are quite literally going to be fighting this fight forever. Have you considered a user name change lately? Esme Sisyphus has a nice ring to it. :3

This a fantastic idea in many cases. You can generally tell which ones are best to mix with alcohol because of the warning label "may cause drowsiness" or better yet "do not take with alcohol". Unless you hate fun. Do you hate fun? Do you want the terrorists to win?
