Before we do anything about those, I think we need to settle on how to tag them.
Multiple_angles started as a tag for posts where the same character is drawn in the exact same pose, but from multiple directions. Here's some examples:
post #426169 post #287014 post #242950 post #432691
But I have no idea what it is used for now, mostly it seems to be tagged like multiple_poses. Same goes for multiple_views.

Both tags are used for multiple views of the same scene (as opposed to a single character, which is just a subset). There's also some usage that doesn't belong at all, like post #67416.

Some things I'm definiteyl certain about all these tags:
1. They seem difficult to consistently define even within us.
2. We should definitely limit the number of them that we have, if only to keep from being really really confused.
3. And finally...

that definitely doesn't belong under any of them.

Okay, looking through things, this could work into the multiple_images tree.
and so on.

I don't think these tags are reserved for single-character pictures. I approve of their use to indicate close-ups and internal views "insets", for example. In such cases multiple_views/angles usually do a much better job than multiple_images, which is quite often inapplicable (i.e. they are clearly not "separate images").

We have the cutaway tag for those.
