The tag implication #45265 the_vermander_curse -> zed_technician has been rejected.

Reason: Reason: I made this tag to help keep Zed's characters organized on e6 and to hopefully make searching them easier instead of having to go to each game individually.

We don't tag character owners. If the characters are from a game, they can imply the game, and if the games are part of some cohesive "universe"/setting, the games can imply that setting, but a character owner shouldn't be tagged.

I see, I'm sorry I was just trying to be helpful and I guess i should have seen if there was tag making rules in regard to this. Unfortunately while they share the same aesthetic which implies a shared universe, there is no tagable thing that can ve used I don't think. Should i just delete all the forms regarding to the tag and tag itself?

You can remove the tag from posts, but don't "delete"/hide the threads. The request will remain pending even if the thread is hidden, until an admin finds and deals with it, and it will prevent others from looking up the threads and any discussions they may have had, if something comes up relating to one of the tags.

Thank you, I will get on that, shame to remove all that retrofitting but without a tag that fits the parameters you have presented me thats just not possible. Thank you for your help in ensuring I don't cause unnecessary problems, I appreciate it and sorry for making this mistake to begin with.
Edit: I removed all 116 uses of the bad tag and updated it's wiki to discourage it's use, I leave the rest in more responsible hands, my apologies again for the mess

(Idk if it's bad etiquette to pursue this after the forum got rejected, but it feels wrong not to entertain the thought at least)I mean that sounds solid, or "Zed Technician's Games" both would represent the games as a whole/ "representing a 'company'" as you put it and not be just the character owner, but I don't feel it wise to act on this. Maybe if we got a third opinion on this, because again it'd be great the have a tag that represents this universe Zed is weaving so it's not scattered, but I don't want to pursue something that could just cause more trouble for others.

Just to clarify: I went with zed_technician_games because zed_technician is technically an artist / 3D modeller, in addition to being an indie game developer.
This approach separates the artist tag from a developer tag.

I didn't actually consider that angle of the issue, hindsight is 20/20 as they say, and I'm happy that thanks to this forum the mistake came to light and was handled properly. I just hope I handled it correctly and didn't cause to much trouble because of the logistical error I made. Sorry if I did.
