Topic: blacklist user no longer work on post list?

I used syntax like this in my blacklist, and when I browse the post list, the posts uploaded from those users are not removed, but when I check on the post's page, it shows the image was blacklisted.

It's working on the posts list for me, have you accidentally disabled the blacklist on the sidebar beneath the search box? When I disable it I get the same behaviour of it showing on the posts page, but showing as blacklisted after I click on it.

I didn't disable it in the sidebar, and I see the blocked user's name didn't show up in the sidebar either, I have confirmed it does in my blacklist setting.

Also, when I block a tag and search the tag, all posts are blocked, but when I search by user:userid It still shows the post from that user.

Update: I find it works fine when I disabled re621, but I can't find which setting causes this issue.

Update again: reset my re621 settings doesn't make any difference, disable it fix the issue

Updated

I changed my blacklist settings in re621 and now it's not working for me either, even after changing them back to how they were...

Might need support from bitWolfy on this one

Oh yeah, it's one of the limitations of the blacklist in re621.

The API does not provide the name of the user who uploaded the post, just the ID.
So, instead of (for example) user:bitWolfy you would need to use userid:211960.
It's also more reliable, as users may change their names, but their ID remains the same.

Thank you for the explanation.

Do we have a post for the known issue of re621? maybe helpful that we can look at it first before creating a new topic.
