Topic: Deleted post appeal

Posted under General

A while ago I posted some images that were removed for purpose of being irrelevant to the site. Some of these same images have been later posted by other uses and approved however.

I believe my posts were falsely deleted, is there a way I can appeal them to remove the deleted mark on my account?

Afaik you can also report the images as "previously deleted".

I went through your deletions and I'm not seeing a single duplicate that didn't get deleted.

You're right, I didn't the same and it seems I was mistaken about these examples, I'm sorry about that

A lot of them I can understand being deleted to be fair, bit some of them are now characters that are commonly approved because plenty of art of them already exists on here, but since that wasn't the case at the time they were flagged as not relevant (Specifically talking about the shapeshifter mimi_(mario))

Some characters are border-cases. Mimi can sometimes look spidery or robotic, but other times look completely human. I assume post #1156440 and post #1156436 were this and this? For Bleck, we only see disembodied humanoid hands and penis, Nastasia and Mimi both look like "Colorful humans". I'd personally say the same about post #1156463, being square/angular is just a style, not a species trait to me (though you aren't the only user to hit an exception with Mimi, her being borderline sometimes lets her in regardless across many users). In post #1156471, her pigtails are stylized in a way that makes them look like horns, a decidedly not human trait.

I understand this, but this site also allows elves and hylians, who's only different feature is pointy ears. In some cases you can't even see the ears, but because Zelda and Link are known hylians they're approved, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch for Mimi

Depends. If the pointy ears aren't visible, the pictures can and will be rejected for being human-looking enough.

I suspect this might be another case of "it seems I was mistaken about these examples", but feel free to share if there are examples.
