Topic: Question for Lesbians

Posted under Off Topic

I've honestly never given this much thought until now:

It's pretty obvious how M/F and M/M couples practice safe sex, but how is safe sex practiced for lesbians? I'd imagine acts that involve the exchange of fluids such as scissoring and eating each other out carries some risk of disease transmission. Is there a way you can do those safely, or is lesbian safe sex basically restricted to acts like fingering, fisting, and inserting various objects into your various orifices?

Nitrile gloves and regular condoms for toys are pretty much the only ones I've heard being used consistently.

My sex ed teacher suggested plastic wrap for oral. She also said that the average penis size was ~4.5 inches erect.

Needless to say we didn't learn much from her.

I've met this one lesbian who strictly believes that all of the males penises are no bigger than 3 inches and their mates lie about how big it is to make them feel better :I

Well in her defense she's a self-proclaimed feminist. She only talks to me because I'm apparently "the only dude she can trust"

That's not a feminist, that's a misandrist.
Feminists are pro-equality not anti-man.

The Queen of England has a standardized definition and pretty much just means 1 thing. Feminism on the other hand means a broad range of things to different people, much of which overlaps.

From what she told me, she prefers to be called a feminist for her own reasons.

My point? My point is exactly what you just said.

He said she was "Self-proclaimed." Generally when people use those words, they mean something by it. Calling someone a self-proclaimed hero, for instance, has very different connotations than just calling them a hero.

I'm almost certain the only way for lesbians to be having safe sex is if I am watching. You know, to make sure it's safe and all.

Are you a "Hands on" safety instructor?

(I swing both ways, but i think I can still answer the question)

There ARE a few safe sex things out there for lesbian sex, but they're rarely used. Who wants to wear a dental dam? Bleh. And I've actually heard someone suggest tryingto keep one of those between both ladies while scissoring too... Seems impossible to me.

I gotta admit, I'm not big into safe sex devices. I hate the way condoms feel, and most other devices kill the mood for me in other ways. Instead I just have a very small, tight knit group of partners, communicate with them, got an IUD, visit the doctor for a yearly checkup, and insist my partners do the same. That being said, if I were ever to do a one night stand I might insist on some protection, but that's not really my kinda thing.

Of course there's a way to be safe.
Stick it in the pooper.

Can't tell if serious, or trolling.
1: Skin contact or fluid contact is how STDs get transferred.
2: Even ignoring STDs, if the relationship is male-female, with the female catching, there's a chance that cum can leak out of the ass and into the vagina. Obviously the odds aren't surefire, so the odds of getting pregnant are a lot lower, but they're still there.
3: ...What even the hell would a woman be sticking into the ass of anybody that would carry risk of transferring STDs if stuck into the vagina?

You should sell her some insurance.

...I don't think sticking a condom in a vagina is going to spread STDs, unless it's a pre-used one.

Lambskin condoms actually don't protect against viral STDs.

Breaks in the skin (on fingers, tongue, etc.) + pretty any mucus membranes is a good way to spread viral STDs as well.

They have female condoms, they just aren't very comfortable.

but they are still mainly meant for penetrative sex. sex between two vagina owners does not necessarily involve anything getting shoved into vagina

Purell everything before you insert it inside each other.

Wow, that was actually really informative and essentially answers my question. Thanks for that. Still, I'd imagine keeping a dental dam in place during vag on vag action would be a bit difficult. perhaps strings can solve that problem?

You know what would make it more fun and still be safe? Bubble wrap!! Yeah! Put that thing between your things, get your partner closer, squeeze the wrap and pop them bubbles!! You get a neat massage, maybe a nice experience and feeling and also lots of fun, because everybody loves popping bubble wrap!

Might also feed the "popping the cherry" telltale (only 50% because there are no actual cherries but there will be real popping!)

Just kidding
