Reason: "Virtual_youtuber" is a more specific term than the more broader and general "vtuber". Also it's shorter and more common saying.

I'm obviously missing out on a bunch of other companies, i don't watch everything, so further additions is appreciated.

Branches should either always be implied part of the main branch or we could just alias all of it as the main branch, seems unnecessary imo.

If we do want branches, keep the naming convetion consistent being (company name) _(2 letters)

(i'm not dealing with the general youtuber stuff or individual talents, atleast not in this thread)

I don't know about this one. Hololive is a company/group of vtubers, but isn't itself a vtuber. One could theoretically portray something of Hololive (logos, etc) without showing a vtuber. This might apply also to nijisanji, vshojo, and voms too, though I don't know if they're characters/personas or companies/groups.

God damnit, completely slipped my mind. Though the idea of simply having the company's copyrighted material without the character seems extremely unlikely, that's a fair point.

Yeah, vshojo, niji, and voms are companies/groups. I didn't wanna touch the individual talents just yet. And i repeat, i'm certain these 4 aren't even all of them.

You can edit the BUR to remove the problematic entries (on the BUR listing page there should be an Edit link on your BURs).

That means the tag already has aliases and/or implications associated with it that need to be removed before it can be aliased. In this case, hololive_indonesia implicates hololive, so it can't also be aliased to hololive_id (a tag can't both implicate and alias other tags, hololive_indonesia would need to be dimplicated from hololive first in a separate BUR before this BUR will be allowed to alias it to hololive_id). And virtual_youtuber is implicated by hololive, so a separate BUR will have to deimplicate hololive from virtual_youtuber before this BUR will be allowed to alias virtual_youtuber to vtuber.

You don't need to change this BUR to fix it, you can simply create a second BUR to do those deimplications that an admin can approve first, which will automatically allow this BUR to be applied. (tip: when creating that second related BUR, you can put this thread's Topic ID 34525 in the "Forum topic" field to have it appear in this same thread).

Sorry, I missed to mention ayunda_risu, kureiji_ollie, and pavolia_reine also currently imply hololive_indonesia. They'll need to be deimplicated too for the hololive_indonesia -> hololive_id alias to work.
