Reason: On all his social media (see artist #27348), the artist calls himself BlackOwl. The blackowl tag refers to the same artist, as evident by the wiki page originally mentioning the alias blackowl53, which is his Ko-Fi (and former Furaffinity) user id.
EDIT: The tag alias owlblack -> blackowl (forum #341100) has been rejected by @slyroon.
